The meaning of Solor Flora

The name is inspired by both my late grandmothers. Solor for my Grandma Sobel’s maiden name. In latin, Solor means to console, comfort, ease, lighten, relieve. Flora means flower or blossom, which is fitting for this line of work. But, I chose Flora after the stories my Nani used to tell me about a pink tutu wearing gorilla, named Flora, who collected friends of all species at the New York City zoo and loved adventure.

Here’s to supporting the adventure of parenthood!
