From one parent to another:
Having a baby (or babies!) is the most exciting, nerve-wracking, fulfilling and unbalanced time in your life. Through postpartum support, guidance, nourishment and education, I can help you navigate this beautifully chaotic period. Together, we'll find peace, comfort, and confidence in your journey through the newborn world.
What is a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula is a trained professional who offers gentle, knowledgeable support to help new parents navigate the early days and weeks of life with a newborn. Blending hands-on help, emotional care, and guidance, they step into the home after birth to make the transition into parenthood feel more manageable and supported.

I will join you and your family during the delicate time following your baby’s arrival. Every day postpartum is different, so every day we’re together will be different. Whether you need emotional support, lactation or bottle feeding assistance, swaddling help, newborn care trips, a nourishing meal or just a nap, I’ll be there to help guide you every step of the way.
-
Healing postpartum starts with how you nourish your body. I’ll develop and cook weekly meals based on your preferences, with the explicit goal of healing your body from within.

In the final weeks leading up to baby’s arrival, you’ll want to have your house ready. I’ll help unbox all those gifts, wash all the baby’s clothes, sterilize bottles and your pump parts, build furniture and help prepare your house so it’s as efficient as possible. That way, you only have to worry about taking care of the baby once they’re here.
Ways I can support you
Hi, I’m Leanna
From the age of 5, I knew that becoming a mom was my calling. When I had my son, Arlo, he completely changed my life. He not only made me a mom, but also helped me realize that I want to help others on their journey through early parenthood.
I believe in helping parents learn to trust their gut and to follow their instincts. I'm there to support and guide, not give definitive answers. There are so many opinions out there and it's important for parents to feel confident in their choices. At the end of the day, this is your family and no one else's.
